Audiologist Gets New Support in Study of Disorder Common in Autism
“One of the primary treatments for hyperacusis is cognitive behavioral therapy combined with some level of exposure to sound, gradually increasing over time,” said Dr. Kelly Jahn, assistant professor of speech, language, and hearing.

Super Support on North Texas Giving Day Boosts Comet Causes
This year one of the youngest people to give was 15-year-old Graycie Montfort, who donated $1,300 to the Callier Center for Communication Disorders. Donations also benefitted other BBS affiliated centers, including the Center for BrainHealth and Center for Children and Families.
