UTD Welcomes Newest Class of Eugene McDermott Scholars
The Eugene McDermott Scholars Program at The University of Texas at Dallas welcomed 17 students this fall, nine of whom are pursuing majors offered in the School of Behavioral and Brain Sciences. The program provides students with rigorous and personalized education, along with intensive extracurricular activities.

Regents’ Teaching Award Winners Excel on Matters of Mind, Cosmos
Dr. Salena Brody, professor of instruction in psychology in the School of Behavioral and Brain Sciences, and Dr. Mustapha Ishak-Boushaki, professor of physics in the School of Natural Sciences and Mathematics, received the 2022 Regents’ Outstanding Teaching Awards.
